Dunhuang Souvenir Designs
​This series is created for the Dunhuang Research Academy (originally the National Research Institute on Dunhuang Art), a "national comprehensive institution" responsible for overseeing the Mogao Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located near Dunhuang in Gansu, China, where I interned at in the Summer of 2021.Â
​The top 3 images are designed for souvenir T-shirts and sold at the Academy's partner Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The rest are initial designs for a blind box figurine collection and are still in progress.
